1. गजाननं भूत गणादि सेवितं, कपित्थ जम्बू फल चारू भक्षणम्।
उमासुतं शोक विनाशकारकम्, नमामि विघ्नेश्वर पाद पंकजम्॥

Gajaananam bhootha Ganaadi sevitham Kapitha jambu falachaaru bhakshadam |
Umasutham shoka vinaasha kaarakam Namaami Vigneshwara paada pankajam ||

Meaning

(I Salute) Sri Gajananam ( Who is having an Elephant Face ), Who is Served by the Bhuta Ganas (Celestial Attendants or Followers) and Others. Who Eats the Core of Kapittha (Wood Apple) and Jambu (Rose Apple) Fruits. Who is the Son of Devi Uma (Devi Parvati) and the Cause of Destruction of Sorrows. I Prostrate at the Lotus-Feet of Vigneshwara ( the God Who Removes Obstacles ).


**2. वक्रतुण्ड महाकाय सूर्यकोटि समप्रभ ।
निर्विघ्नं कुरु मे देव सर्वकार्येषु सर्वदा ॥**
Vakratund mahakaaya Surya koti samapraba |
Nirvighnam kurume deva Sarva kaaryeshu sarvada ||

Meaning (Salutations to Sri Ganesha) Who has a Curved Trunk, Who has a Large Body and Whose Splendour is similar to Million Suns; O Deva, Please Make my Undertakings Free of Obstacles, By extending Your Blessings in All my Works, Always.

3.शुक्लाम्बरधरं विष्णुं शशिवर्णं चतुर्भुजम् । प्रसन्नवदनं ध्यायेत् सर्वविघ्नोपशान्तये ॥ Shuklam varadharam vishnum Shashi varnam chatur bhujam | Prasanna vadanam dhyayet Sarva vighno pashanthaye ||

Meaning O Lord, he whose dress is the wide white sky, who is all pervading, whose arms are spread to all four sides One with the blissful face, We meditate on you, nullify all troubles

  1. अगजानन पद्मार्कम् गजाननम् अहर्निशम् अनेक दम् तम् भक्तानाम् एकदन्तम् उपास्महे Agajaanana Padmaarkam Gajaananam-Aharnisham Anekadam Tam Bhaktaanaam Ekadantam Upaasmahe

Meaning O Lord with the Elephant face seeing whom the face of Mother Parvati lights up just like a beautiful Lotus opens up after seeing Sun I meditate on you Day & Night, bless us O Single Tusked Lord, giver of boons in plenty

  1. एकदन्ताय विद्महे वक्रतुण्डाय धीमहि । तन्नो दन्तिः प्रचोदयात् ॥ Eka-Dantaaya Vidmahe Vakra-Tunnddaaya Dhiimahi | Tan-No Dantih Prachodayaat ||

Meaning (The Ganapati Gayatri) (Let our mind go) to the Ekadanta (the One with a Single Tusk) to know (His Conscious Form deeply); (And then) Meditate on that Vakratunda (the One with a Curved Trunk) (to get absorbed in His Conscious Form). May that Danti (One with a Tusk) awaken (our Consciousness)

  1. ॐ गणानां त्वा गणपतिं हवामहे कविं कवीनामुपमश्रवस्तमम् । ज्येष्ठराजं ब्रह्मणाम् ब्रह्मणस्पत आ नः शृण्वन्नूतिभिःसीदसादनम् ॥ ॐ महागणाधिपतये नमः ॥ Om Gannaanaam Tvaa Ganna-Patim Hava-Amahe Kavim Kaviinaam-Upama-Shravas-Tamam | Jyessttha-Raajam Brahmannaam Brahmannas-Pata Aa Nah Shrnnvan-Nuutibhih-Siida-Saadanam || Om Mahaa-Ganna-Adhipataye Namah ||

Meaning Om, O Ganapati, To You Who are the Lord of the Ganas (Celestial Attendants or Followers), we Offer our Sacrificial Oblations, You are the Wisdom of the Wise and the Uppermost in Glory, You are the Eldest Lord (i.e. ever Unborn) and is of the Nature of Brahman (Absolute Consciousness); You are the Embodiment of the Sacred Pranava (Om), Please come to us by listening to our Prayers and be Present in the Seat of this Sacred Sacrificial Altar. Gayatri Mantra

  1. ॐ भूर्भुवः स्वः तत्सवितुर्वरेण्यं भर्गो देवस्य धीमहि धियो यो नः प्रचोदयात् ॥ Om Bhuur-Bhuvah Svah Tat-Savitur-Varennyam Bhargo Devasya Dhiimahi Dhiyo Yo Nah Pracodayaat ||

Meaning Om, Pervading the Bhu Loka (Earth, Consciousness of the Physical Plane), Bhuvar Loka (Antariksha, The Intermediate Space, Consciousness of Prana) and Swar Loka (Sky, Heaven, Consciousness of the Divine Mind), That Savitur (Savitri, Divine Essence of the Sun) which is the most Adorable, I Meditate on that Divine Effulgence, May that Awaken our Intelligence (Spiritual Consciousness).

Devi Shlokas and Mantras

1.सर्वमङ्गलमाङ्गल्ये शिवे सर्वार्थसाधिके । शरण्ये त्र्यम्बके गौरि नारायणि नमोऽस्तु ते ॥ Sarva mangala maangalye Shive sarvaartha sadike | Sharanye tryambike gauri Naraayani namostu te ||

Meaning

She is the most auspicious one and the one who bestows auspiciousness upon all of the worlds. She is pure and holy. She protects those who surrender to her and is also called the Mother of the three worlds and is Gauri, daughter of mountain king. We bow down to Mother Durga again and again. We worship her.

Meaning

The goddess who is omnipresent as the personification of the universal mother The goddess who is omnipresent as the embodiment of power The goddess who is omnipresent as the symbol of peace Oh Goddess (Devi) who resides everywhere in all living beings as intelligence and beauty, I bow to her, I bow to her, I bow to her again & again.

Meaning I offer my prayers to Goddess Lakshmi, who is daughter to the king of the ocean of milk, whose abode is Srirangam, who is attended to by all the divine ladies, who is the glowing light for this entire world, who resides in the chest of Vishnu and possesses the prosperity of blessing glances from Brahma and Shiva, who resides in all the three worlds or lokas and who is born from the lotus flower.

4.नित्यानन्दकरी वराभयकरी सौन्दर्यरत्नाकरी निर्धूताखिलघोरपावनकरी प्रत्यक्षमाहेश्वरी । प्रालेयाचलवंशपावनकरी काशीपुराधीश्वरी भिक्षां देहि कृपावलम्बनकरी मातान्नपूर्णेश्वरी ॥ Nityaa Nandakari Varabhaya-Karii Saundarya-Ratnakari Nirdhutaakhila-Ghora-Paavana-Karii Pratyakssa-Maaheshvari Praaleyachala-Vamsha-Paavana-Karii Kaashii-Puradhiishvarii Bhiksham Dehi Krpavalambana-Karii Maata-Annapurneshvari

Meaning (Salutations to Mother Annapoorna) Who always give Joy to Her Devotees, along with Boons and assurance of Fearlessness (under Her Motherly care); Who is a repository of great Beauty and makes their minds beautiful by a touch of the Gem of Her (inner) Beauty, Who Purifies all the Poisons and Sufferings of their minds (by the touch of Her Compassion and Bliss), and Who is the Great Goddess manifested visibly in Kashi, Who Sanctified the Lineage of the King of the Mountain of Himalayas (by taking birth as Devi Parvati); Who is the Ruling Mother of the city of Kasi, O Mother Annapoorneswari, Please grant us the Alms of Your Grace; Your Grace which Support all the Worlds.

Shiv Mantra

  1. ॐ त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम् । उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान् मृत्योर्मुक्षीय मामृतात् ॥ Om Try-Ambakam Yajaamahe Sugandhim Pusstti-Vardhanam Urvaarukam-Iva Bandhanaan Mrtyor-Mukssiiya Maa-[A]mrtaat ||

Meaning Om, We worship the Tryambaka (the Three-Eyed One). Who is Fragrant (as the Spiritual Essence), Increasing the Nourishment (of our Spiritual Core). From these many Bondages (of Samsara) similar to Cucumbers (tied to their Creepers). May I be Liberated from Death (Attachment to Perishable Things), So that I am not separated from the perception of Immortality (Immortal Essence pervading everywhere).

  1. कर्पूरगौरं करुणावतारं संसारसारम् भुजगेन्द्रहारम् । सदावसन्तं हृदयारविन्दे भवं भवानीसहितं नमामि ॥ Karpuura-Gauram Karunna-Avataaram Samsaara-Saaram Bhujage[a-I]ndra-Haaram | Sadaa-Vasantam Hrdaya-Aravinde Bhavam Bhavaanii-Sahitam Namaami ||

Meaning Pure White like Camphor, an Incarnation of Compassion, The Essence of Worldly Existence, Whose Garland is the King of Serpents. Always Dwelling inside the Lotus of the Heart. I Bow to Shiva and Shakti Together.

Shree Vishnu Mantra

  1. मङ्गलम् भगवान विष्णुः, मङ्गलम् गरुणध्वजः। मङ्गलम् पुण्डरी काक्षः, मङ्गलाय तनो हरिः॥ Mangalam Bhagwan Vishnuh, Mangalam Garunadhwajah। Mangalam Pundari Kakshah, Mangalaya Tano Harih॥

Meaning All auspiciousness to Lord Vishnu. All auspiciousness to one who has Garuda as His flag. All auspiciousness to One who has eyes like the lotus flowers. Ans auspiciousness to Hari.

  1. श्रीराम राम रामेति रमे रामे मनोरमे । सहस्रनाम तत्तुल्यं रामनाम वरानने ॥ Shree Raama Raama Raame[a-I]ti Rame Raame Manorame | Sahasra-Naama Tat-Tulyam Raama-Naama Vara-[A]anane ||

Meaning By meditating on “Rama Rama Rama” (the Name of Rama), my Mind gets absorbed in the Divine Consciousness of Rama, which is Transcendental. The Name of Rama is as Great as the Thousand Names of God (Vishnu Sahasranama).
